OBJECT STUDY & REDEFINE- REDESIGN

Reflection of documentation of the process of the object study project:

Initially we made a research plan and a mind map to gather the various points we should-can explore, to make a system which helps us to keep track of out progress and ensure that we visit most aspects.

Then we moved on to other primary methods to study our objects i.e observation and surveys.

we used anthropometry and ergonomics as a major tool in understanding the usabilty and utility of the object. After phase 1 we moved onto redesign and redefine of our objects, we were supposed to think of ideas to innovate, cut problems, add uses etc to the objects, one very tricky thing here was how while i thought of one idea to minimise a certain problem, another problem arose due to the new idea which seemed to be bigger than the initial problem!
